Eunice High School triumphed in the SACEE debating league final which took place at Grey College on 17 October. Eunice’s senior team beat their male counterparts from Grey College in an intense unprepared debate that focused on the government’s responsibility to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants. The teams were allowed one hour in which each debater prepared an eight minute speech – without using any electronic device as a resource. This victory places Eunice High School top of 18 teams that competed in the senior division of the SACEE debating league. The winning learners were Favour Ifeanyi, Bontle Leeuw and Tshepiso Seboloki. Favour Ifeanyi was also selected as the best debater of the event. From left to right: Tshepiso Seboloki, Favour Ifeanyi, Bontle Leeuw.
